Who am I??
I'm sensitive; I cry over silly things.. I'm a foodie; I don't care how much I put on.. I love my friends even when they behave stupid.. because I'm a part of that stupidity. I get confused between right and left. I wear sunglasses and sunscreen even when its not sunny just for precaution. I love my parents.. I hate to leave my parent's house and go to a completely new house. But, I do it because I want to start a family of my own. This is a God's gift to me.. that I be a part of two families. I laugh out loud, I sing while I drive, I dance in the rain, I run to catch a bus, I fall in love, I go alone for movies, I walk a beach, I play with waves in the sea, I sleep in the class, I do my homework on time, I take care of my parents, I cook, I take care of my in-laws, I wash clothes, I go for work, I teach my kids, I fly a plane, I drive a bus, I win Olympics, I go to the space... I'm a complete package..
2. I might not have a degree, or looks or money. But I'l never be judged for that by two people on this earth. My parents... I'll always be my Dad's princess..!! "Papa ki Pari hu Main......"
3. Who says I can't be as good as boys. In fact, I am better than many of them. There is nothing in this world that a boy can do and I can't. Try me on that.
4. I enjoy my life in every possible way. I dance like no ones watching.. I sing like no ones listening.. I live my life completely.
5. Even though I'm 25, inside me, I am 5 all over again. It feels good to play in the water with a 5 year old.. I relish being a child again.
6. My brother is my first friend. We are partners in crime, we are each other's support system, we are always a team.
7. In Marathi, we say, " Aajisathi naat mhanje dudhavarchi saay aste." It means, a grandmother loves her grandchild somewhat more than her own child. My granny does love me more than she loves my Mom.. She always reserves the best for me.
8. I have little secrets that only my close friends know.. and that trust has grown over time through those giggles and smiles for silly crushes, those night before exam studies, those crazy bike rides, those bunked lectures, those copied home works, so much more.. It's never ending..
9. I'm mysterious... So many men have tried to study me and have failed. I'm uncertain and enigmatic.. and I'm proud of myself.
10. I wear western clothes. I don't wear bangles or put a "tikli" or wear earrings or nose rings. But that dos not make me an atheist. I believe in God and pray to him as per my belief.
11. I love shopping.. I shop even though I have enough of everything. I like a pair of shoes, I buy and wear it because I like the look of that shoe on me.. or rather I like my feet in those shoes.. I love to look pretty from head to toe.
13. I stay in a village, so my lifestyle is different from city girls. But at heart, I'm the same. I have same desires and likes-dislikes.
14. I have a boyfriend. I love him with all my heart. If things go well, I will surely marry him.. My love is not a time pass.
15. I support my family in my own way. I carry the load of feeding my family. I'm one of the wheels that run the cart of my family.
16. I work hard in the fields along with men. But I also cook food for my family. I multitask because I'm multi-talented.
17. I'm a fisher-woman. I work hard to get the fish and sell it door to door. So, please don't bargain with me for few bucks.
18. Come what may, I'll be there by your side even if the whole world is against you. I'll be your strength to overcome every situation.
